Fatemeh Tavakoli

Fatemeh Tavakoli, born in 2002, BA in Painting from the University of Guilan.

She began her artistic career by focusing on her experiences in the natural environment

of northern Iran. Her works reflect her daily life, personal memories, and sensory

encounters with agricultural environments; especially rice fields and vegetable gardens

and summer crops, which have been not only part of her biogeography, but also a

platform for the formation of her artistic vision.

From the very beginning, the concern to record the moments lived in rice fields,

especially the hardships of work during the stages of planting, tending, and harvesting,

took shape in her mind. Living alongside these events, observing the relentless efforts of

farmers, and directly touching the rice field space, created in her a sense of artistic

responsibility. A mission to represent these spaces not simply as natural landscapes,

but also as scenes of life, work, and resistance.
